Obtaining Cargo

Obtaining your cargo

The shipping container in which your cargo has been packed in will be moved from the terminal/ wharf to a customs bonded warehouse. There it will be unpacked and your goods will be made available for collection, or delivery from the warehouse itself. This process usually takes about 4-6 days from arrival date of the vessel.

You can arrange collection of your cargo yourself if you wish, the details of the warehouse will be provided upon request.

Delivery must be arranged 24 hours prior to the requested delivery date.
Payment for services and taxes must be received before delivery will commence.
If you require delivery outside of the options mentioned above, please contact us for a more specialised quote.

In addition to the above, there may also be additional costs involved, these include:

  • Quarantine charges, if the freight needs to be fumigated or inspected.
  • Storage charges, incurred if the freight is held at a bonded warehouse longer than three working days.
